A tea party for the needy

Radio presenter, Tlhokaboyo “Thloks” Mohasi has organised a tea party to help collect needs for the less privileged next week.

Under the theme ‘She with a Purpose’, she told this paper her guest appearances are Carol Motolo and Prophetess Anicia Snow.

“The ‘She with purpose’ is an idea I had recently and decided to give it a try,” she said.

She added, “I am at a stage in my life where I have learned to listen to the voice of God. He gave me this idea to implement and I am intending to leave it to Him to grow it into an annual event or not.”

Mohasi showed that the ‘She with a purpose’ is enough to describe the channel of the project.

“The name says it all, it is for every lady who believes in being their own brother’s keeper. It is winter, there are a lot of families struggling all year with winter being the worst season,” said Mohasi.

“So, the aim is just to help with as little as we can. That is basically why a woman was created, to be a helper,” Mohasi added noting beneficiaries are yet to be identified.

“The people or a person who will benefit from the help raised from the event are yet to be identified. It is either going to be a family or an orphanage depending on how much stuff we manage to collect,” the radio star said.

Mohasi pleads with everyone to give their support to the initiative and extend donations in the form of clothes which are in good condition.

“My pastor always says, if giving does not move you, then heavens do not recognise it, so let us together be the change we want go see. It begins with us,” she said.
